i-Plexus offers two types of billing service plans:

• Full Service: Under this plan we provide the full service of coding, demographic entry, charge entry, insurance billing, insurance follow up, patient follow up, patient statements receiving calls from your patients, and full management reports. Our fees are based on a percentage of what we collect and typically the higher the monthly reimbursement amount and the higher the reimbursement per charge, the lower our fees will be.
• Charge Entry: Under this plan, we provide a limited service of entering your patient demographics and charges, generating the insurance bills to the insurance companies, and management reporting. We leave the rest of the processes to you. Our fees are based on a fixed fee per charge entered.

Our management team has over 70 years of billing service experience. Our team includes the former chief information officer for Medaphis for a number of years (renamed to Per-Se Technologies and subsequently sold to McKesson in 2007). Medaphis billed for over 15,000 physicians through out the United States. Prior to Medaphis, this same team member was the Vice President of Information Systems of MedPartners (renamed to Caremark and subsequently sold to CVS Drugs in 20007). At MedPartners, he had responsibility for the billing of three thousand physicians. Collection Rates: i-Plexus typically collects 98% of primary and secondary insurance. The reason this collection rate is so high is that we do not generate a charge unless we have a very confidence it will get paid. i-Plexus has created a leading "edit engine" that represents the hundreds of reasons why a claim will get denied by the payer. We run our claims through this engine before they go out; thus insuring that we will receive a high adjudication acceptance rate with the payer.

Reporting: i-Plexus believe in the old adage "you can not manage what you can not measure", so we arm our billing service practices with an array of reporting flexibility they will not find else where. The bottom line is that if we capture the data, we can report on the data. We have provided for you some sample canned reports that are available from our system.

Patient Collections: We send out "HFMA Patient Friendly Initiative Compliant" patient statements and we provide a toll free number for the patients to call.
